BASIC FIRST AID – $30

Basic First Aid was created to help students develop basic first aid knowledge, skills, and the confidence to respond. The program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting and is consistent with recommendations of the 2010 national first aid science advisory board and OSHA best practices for first aid training programs in the workplace.

2-year certification | 2-4 hour course

 

CPR AND AED – $65

CPR and AED is a combined CPR and AED program designed specifically for laypeople. This program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and is based upon the 2010 International consensus on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency cardiovascular care (ECC) science with treatment recommendations (COSTR) and other evidence-based treatment recommendations.

2-year certification │ 2-3 hour course

 

CPR, AED, FIRST AID COMBINATION COURSE – $85

 CPR, AED, and basic first aid combination training was created to allow instructors an easy option for their students seeking a comprehensive training class. This program helps develop basic first aid knowledge, skills, and the confidence to respond. CPR, AED, and basic first aid combination training is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and is consistent with recommendations of the 2010 National First Aid Science Advisory board and OSHA’s best practices for first aid training programs in the workplace.

2-year certification | 6 hours course

BLOOD BORNE PATHOGENS – $20

Blood Borne Pathogens program includes information that will help students understand what blood borne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others. The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA blood borne pathogens standard (29 CFR 1910.1030).

12-month certification | 1-hour course

PEDIATRIC CPR, AED, FIRST AID – $60

Pediatric CPR, AED, and First Aid training program provides an ideal training solution for schools, child care providers, youth sports coaches, and others required to learn how to respond to medical emergencies involving children. This versatile program is based upon the 2010 CPR and first aid guidelines, caring for our children, 3rd Ed; and other evidence-based treatment recommendations.

2-year certification | 5-6 hour course

CHILD AND BABYSITTING SAFETY COURSE (CABS) – $50

The child and babysitting safety training program is designed to focus on supervising, caring for, and keeping children and infants safe in babysitting settings. The program provides fundamental information in the business of babysitting, proper supervision, basic caregiving skills, and responding properly to ill or injured children or infants. Young people (11 to 15 years old) who are interested in providing babysitting services. There is no perquisite, however CPR/AED and basic first aid certification strongly recommended.

1-year certification 

BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS)– New $65; Renewal $60

Students learn how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support and what to do in case of an airway obstruction or choking per AHA guidelines. ASHI’s Basic Life Support also available, which has been approved for training for emergency medical services personnel and is accepted by the national registry of emergency medical technicians (NREMT). Training includes techniques of CPR, AED and release of airway obstruction in adults, children, and infants. This course is designed for health care providers.
